Top 10 | Ways to Embrace August Bank Holiday Weekend in London

So it’s nearly time for bank holiday – and there’s no shortage of events go on in and around the city. So I’ve done my best to round up some of my favourites below:

 

1. Warm Up for Carnival at Pergola Paddington

2. Embrace a Sunday Session with Vogue Williams


WHAT IS IT? Club D&D is getting ready for its biggest brunch yet… CLUB BRUNCH! They’re heading up to Madison’s iconic rooftop for an afternoon of brunch bites, cocktails and a stellar line up of entertainment and live music from celebrity DJ, Vogue Williams!

3. Don’t Forget Your Passport at the V&A


WHAT IS IT? Debate the future of the British passport post-Brexit and play sleuth in a V&A treasure hunt at the museum’s summer themed late ‘Don’t Forget Your Passport’. From 6:30pm tonight, think sun cream, poolside lounging and sand-encrusted books. Entry is free and drop in, but some popular events will be ticketed.

4. Spritz Up at the Southbank


WHAT IS IT? Open on August 23th to August 28th from 17:00 – 20.30, The Aperol Spritz Sundial Social will offer a complimentary spritz per person to ensure guests start their evenings the Italian way. Come British rain or shine, the sundial will continue to encourage Italian sociability,
with Aperol Spritz on offer across the weekend.

5. Feast in Deliciousness at Hampton Court Palace


WHAT IS IT? BBC Good Food’s Feast is taking place this weekend on the manicured lawns of Hampton Court Palace. The family-friendly event brings together artisan producers from across the UK for a delectable day out, in addition to a stellar line-up of chefs including Michael Roux Jr.

6. Indulge in a Banquet in Toad Hall
